I’m so glad these pinecone scales are a hit! Years ago I used them for another (much scalier) project, but those were from a dried pinecone that I had to “descale” myself and IT HURT! 
And I was totally going to do it again, but then noticed some h*ckin’ squirrels had done it for me!

Oh my gosh it’s darling! Obviously the roof is brilliant, but the detail I can’t get over is the tiny braided rug. Perfection. I love the champagne cap too! I’ve definitely saved a few of those just for their creative potential.
