Fancy Cross Stitch Jars

I made these jars awhile ago, but just did the goose one last week.

They’re made on 14 ct plastic Aida. I’m thinking they made be turned into magnets, but I’m open to other ideas!
I used patterns from this shop on Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/shop/1000sPatterns

I’ve never heard of plastic Aida.

I wanted to call it plastic canvas but plastic canvas is more square if that makes sense? I called it plastic Aida. Not sure if that’s a real term lol

If you are trying to find something to do with them, might I suggest STS this year?

I know I would love to claim one. They are stunning!

That’s definitely something to think about  Great idea!

I agree they would make really cute bookmarks. I might also put a magnet on the back so I could look at it every day on the fridge. Did you find the patterns or create them @Whistlefish ?

I found them! Search “cross stitch jar patterns” on Etsy and there’s a bunch. There are multiple sellers, which seems sketch, and I don’t know who the original designer is. I got these from 1000spatterns or something like that. You could easily design them. They use the same “jar” for all of them!

Plastic aida has been around for years, we have bookmarks my niece made for us 20 years ago and I’ve used it for magnets.
