Felted Coin Purse

First time using one of these frames. Will line it tomorrow and then put it to good use!

Harlan, everything about this purse is so beautiful. You used lovely colors, felted them together elegantly, and chose the perfect frame to complement the fibers. Well done.

What a wonderful job you did on this, and I too, like the colors! It reminds me of the sea, or nature.

Ooh, I’ve never seen felting done this way before (for a coin purse, I mean). It’s so pretty! I love the squiggly teal lines.

I love the colors and β€œstrand” patterns! Are the frames difficult to use (attach to the bag)?

IF you have your bag cut correctly (I had to extend my cuts along the side) to match the shape of the purse frame, it is pretty simple to sew the fabric into place. I found that a clothes pin was the perfect size to hold the fabric in place while I sewed.

The purse frames that you sew are easier than the ones where you need to use glue and such. I also know that should I ever need to, I can remove this felted pouch and attach something new. :smile_cat:

I probably should have sewn the lining in at the same time.
