First adult sized knitted cardigan

I’m so excited, I finally finished my first adult sized cardigan and it is wearable.

The patterns is the Hillside Cardigan by Ashley Lillis.

I used Bendigo Woollen Mills Calypso yarn, which is a wool & cotton slub blend. Which gives it a crepey texture. I’m currently in my rumpled linen era and I feel like it blends right in.

Unfortunately, I’m in the southern hemisphere. So I’ll have to wait half a year until I can wear it.

The buttons are vintage gold toned roses.

So cozy looking and those buttons gift is some cool vintage flair! Maybe you’ll find yourself in an overly air-conditioned space this summer and can wear it sooner than expected.

How cool! I struggle with knitting (unless using a loom) and crocheting escapes me. I am equally impressed with this sweater! I’d be pretty pleased with myself if I made it! You rock!!
