I made my first pair of knitted mitts this year, mastering DPNs! Knitting continues to be an adventure. The yarn is special as I bought it during the Asheville Meetup last year so it’ll forever remind of that amazing weekend.

Thanks! On the inner side below the thumb you can tell it was my first time with DPNs. Clearly new to transitioning from needle to needle. I’ve since made a second pair, and learned the trick of tightening the yarn just after making the jump which makes all the difference.

Lovely yarn, beautiful project, fun memories. I’m wrapping up something I started there too. Fun to think that was only a year ago.
