It looks really good! Such a clever pattern, the idea is simple but it’s not that easy to have all those squares line up perfectly! You did a great job and the fabric is a great choice for this pattern. Did you quilt it yourself as well?
Oh my giggles! I love this so hard! Just in the last week, I revisited my fantasy of making a gingham quilt (if I ever make a piecework quilt) and the idea of using on print in 3 colorways is brilliant!
Quilting your third quilt, a full sized one, on your domestic machine, that’s very impressive! A lot of people avoid quilting on a regular sewing machine.
I love regionally, so it generally means I would have to send it via the mail. As we don’t have anyone who offers long arming services in our area. I’m also impatient
I just found out we may have a quilt guild. I emailed them to see if they are still active and if I could join.
Hopefully they can help find a long warmer in future
I have had this same pattern saved forever and seeing your version just reminds me of why I love it so much. You did a lovely job and I like your choice of backing fabric!
Very pretty! That’s amazing you did all that on a regular sewing machine. I’ve heard it’s common to have a quilt finished at a specialty quilting store. (They have fancy long arms for the quilting part of it.)
