Sheepblue and I had a private swap AGES ago (as in almost a year) and I’m just now getting around to posting pics of the piece I made for her.
Emma likes the movie Aliens and has as warped a sense of humor as I do, so I when this idea popped into my head, I knew it would be perfect.
I created a tiny lemonade-stand with the words “Free Hugs” painted in red at the top. Then I made a facehugger and an unhatched pod to accompany it. The stand was made with craft sticks, wood stain and glue. The facehugger and pod are both polymer clay with paint added for detail.
