I wasn’t sure where to put this. Technically it’s a brooch but it’s also a mini painting. I painted the frog on one of those mini canvases using acrylic paint and acrylic paint pens, then applied acrylic varnish. I cut it out and fitted it to a thin wood sheet that I cut to size. I repainted the frame with guilding paint and used some wax to give it a little dimension. Finally, using resin I fixed it to the mini frame and added a little brooch pin to the back.
A fancy frame to suit a prince in disguise. Cute!
