I created this little scene for @curiousfae in the One Tiny Thing swap. She had a picture of a frog smoking and chilling on her Pinterest and my brain instantly decided what she needed was a silly scene with a frog hanging out in his bachelor pad. And because this was the OTT swap, the scene is exactly 4" across and under 4" high.
Details:
Frog is playing Frogger on a classic Atari system. The tiny cartridge has the frogger graphics, the mini tv has a scene from the game. The consolr has itty bitty buttons and the Atari logo. I used a headphone cord to make the cord from the joystick to the game console.
The Polaroids are silly frog memes. They’re “attached” with tiny thumbtacks I made using a sheet of tin, a tiny hole punch, and some foam to slightly raise them. I added a 3rd polaroid after I’d already taken my pictures, but it’s visisble in Curiousfae’s pic.
The Budweiser beer can was included because of the classic Budweiser frog commercial.
The little calendar is a froggy pinup I made using kissy lips and pics of some heart pasties. The date circled on the calendar is the send date for the swap.
I made Frog’s chair and then ripped the arm, shoved in some stuffing and added a bit of ducttape. In retrospect I should have used frog tape, but the silve duct tape makes me giggle.
Frog was made from polymer clay and finished with acrylic paint.
For the tiny Flies chip bag, I took a Lays bag and spent a lot of time in Photoshop making it froggified. I even switched the ingredients line .
The scene is all built in a wood canister I’ve been holding onto for years. My husband helped me cut the side panel out and cut the top down to where I wanted. Finally my random object hording paid off.
