Front Porch Pillows

Nothing too exciting, but I made some pillow covers for our front porch pillows. They were old and faded.

I had some blue duck cloth on hand (which kinda matches our front door) and made envelope style covers.

Here are faded pillows…

And here they are now!

This project may be as simple as they come, but I’m always proud of myself for literally any sewing I do. lol I think I think I’m worse than I really am. Or maybe I’ve fought enough with the sewing machine and seam rippers to lose all confidence.

I always get a boost from a project for my home or that I can wear. I totally understand that feeling of satisfaction!

They look great. Seems like you have gotten over the sewing machine mishaps. It looks like a nice place to sit and relax too.

Recently I’ve made progress. lol. Apparently you should put the needle in the right way when you change it. Also! I got a 1/4in foot and it’s amazing!! Why didn’t I know about it sooner?!

Sooo…my 8 year old saw them and called them jillows. I asked him what he meant and he said, “Jean pillows!” And now I can’t unsee it. :joy:

So, yes, these are my new front porch jillows. :sob:
