Fruit of the hamper shirt

Ok! I got all I can do done, and the collar is not correct, but no one can see that. I’ll have to watch some videos to get that right.

Anyway, the only things left are adding buttons, the button plate is missing, so I’ll have to do that by hand. And fix one button hole after I get another seam ripper. The one that was with this machine is extremely dull, and I tried to use my sharp scissors…O_o, oddly enough, only damaged one out of three.

Ooh! I forgot about this. The first interfacing I found was a bit wrinkled. So what I did is I set my iron on the lowest setting, then lightly went over it a few times. Worked quite well.

And my next project is going to be a robe. I think I can pull it off. :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Ok! Have an issue to deal with once I feel up to it. Nearly the whole half of the bottom seam didn’t get sewn right.

I had folded over the seam twice, so that there’d be no freyed ends. Looks like the ironing tricked me into not noticing I missed some of the double folds during sewing. Meh, I’ll just go around with one more stitch when I feel up to it.

What a great print, and fabulous shirt!

This turned out great! The black accents really help make it special.

After the first shirt I made that had the black on the inside of the collar really really struck me, so I really want to do more like that, heh. Plus, if I can figure out how to do geometric shapes (Pretty much, if I can figure out how to sew sharp angles that aren’t like V-necks, heh, I’ll do some designs like that, too… Well, if I add a seam to the geometric shapes, then I could…But do I want a seam? May have to til I can get better at V cuts).

Finally got around to fixing the lower seam. Eh, the double stitching won’t be noticeable. So it’s fine.
