Braising the pork I got from the place that’s helping me, and this time I had sanded the pan for the second time by hand with 800 grit sandpaper. I believe I don’t have to do any more sanding, too. The bottom of the pan is much smoother than it was before, and nothing sticks as bad as it did before hand, heh.
Took a set of deliveries here in an hour, so will have to put the meat in the fridge, but it’ll be fine. I have three or four ideas for it. Burritos, beans, noodles, and maybe a pork pot pie.

Ok! The first bunch I turned into bbq pork, and today I used four or five pieces in beans, with cumin, onion, chili powder, paprika, and garlic powder.
Forgot to post this from this morning.
When I froze the meat, I had placed each batch that could be used for a single meal in each bag. Well, since I didn’t need to use a whole bag for the beans, I had some left over. So I added those last pieces to some fried potatoes. Mental note to self: get some carrots, frozen bell peppers or jalopenos…it really needed something extra, heh.
When I finish the meat, I’ll try to remember, but I’ll edit the first post to add info and links to each thing I make with the meat.

Today’s making, a soup with dumplings. Not very flavorful, but meant to be eaten with crackers. The dumplings just to add a little extra to it.
Also, instead of using any of the bouillon I have, I used six ice cubes of the oxtail broth I froze a few weeks ago.
