I got a lovely card from @LindyBlues yesterday, with this adorable artist trading coin. I’m still cross with the postal system, neither of the letters I’ve sent to her has arrived yet
I (quickly) received from @Edel yesterday and like someone else said, I think I misunderstood the meaning of xsmall. Her package was quite the treat and brightened my day! Here’s everything together:
I’m particularly obsessed with the little hoopla and pin! The pin is going on my work lanyard. Thank you so much for everything @edel! I’m happy to call myself your Galentine!
After seeing your and jellybean’s posts, I double-checked my package from Edel and found a couple of those clear stickers(?) hiding in the envelope! It’s the Galentine that keeps on giving…
I’m really glad you liked the stuff, I know it’s not an extra small, but I hate to send envelopes without stuffing them. I couldn’t decide between the small vintage style wooden pins and the mini hoopla, so I got both and ended up doing both. The cute little boxes are from a tutorial that I found online. I figured they would. Make the perfect packaging
Yes, they’re scratch cards! Sorry I forgot to label them. The pack I have came with pointy wooden sticks to scratch them with, but something like a toothpick should work.
Hey Everyone. I am experiencing a family emergency right now. I will try to update everything on Wednesday. It would help me a lot if everyone made sure they posted pics of the cards they got as soon as possible. My inbox is stuffed full, and I will compare my tracking to the Gallery to make sure I don’t miss anything.
Thanks for understanding.
And @jemimah we agreed to do a personal swap at the same time, no sense in sending stuff half way across the world without sending all of the things. And she’s sent me all of the things!!
First out this wonderful hand painted cards and some ephemera, and a hand made notebook. I love the tape you’ve used on the spine of this.
And this gorgeous paper/pen cover. I know there is a word for this, but I’ve a head full of a sneezy cold so my brain isn’t working. She included a lovely new pen and some tips for working with vintage nibs.
I’m so glad they’re starting to arrive…I had visions of postal machines not being able to handle the lumps from the bracelets and shred everything in the process.
I was bummed I missed out on this swap but I just found a lovely Galentine’s card and bouquet in my mailbox from @Tapestry Thank you so much! They’re totally going up on my bulletin board
