Galentines Collage Cards

Last year I participated in Sketchbook Revival 2024, an online workshop with a ton of artists offering daily sessions on various topics. I loved so many of them and made a few of the workshop pieces. One workshop was a flower vase collage by Lucie Duclos - her work is so fun. While I didn’t make it at the time, when the Galentines Swap came around, it was the perfect chance to create something similar for my Galentines cards.

Process pics:

The main collage pieces are tissue paper, bits of a dictionary, and a piece of sheet music, all adhered with a thin coat of acrylic matte medium. I added detailing with Ohuhu black liner pens and white Posca.

Nice! your cards are fun and vibrant. I think the colored background was a great choice.
