Galentine's Day Cat Cards and Bookmarks

I made these cards and bookmarks for the Galentine’s Day swap!

The cards:

The bookmarks with extra cats & some rainbow scratch cards:

I left them blank so people could color them as they wished or use them as book trackers (each bookmark has 12 books on it).

The cards & bookmarks started out as sketches. I don’t have a scanner, so I took photos of the sketches and made digital versions of them so they could be printed.

Initial sketch of cat with heart with my test print:

Bookmark sketches with my test print. After I cut them out, I realized they were too big for the cards, so I had to make a smaller version.

The too big bookmarks were given to the children’s librarian at my local library. Hopefully the kids liked them.

These were fun to make! I want to try making more bookmarks & things based on sketches.

How fun! I like the idea of using the bookmarks as trackers and the fact that you left them ready to be colored in. Sounds like a nice way to enjoy some downtime!

So cute!
I’m also a fan of the trackers (how fun to record the titles on the spines!)
Well done & I’m gonna try to remember this idea for the next bookmark swap!

I threw one of these bookmarks in my book tonight when I went to pick up dinner!

This is so cool. I don’t even know how you go about turning a sketch into a digital print. Color me impressed!
