Goblin Planting Pot

I made this little goblin pot for Shop The Swap. I went in with zero plan and just let the clay do whatever it wanted, thus the super weird nose and odd curlicue at the corner of each eye. And yet, it’s so weird I kind of love it? I forget sometimes how much fun it is working with clay. I feel like this character belongs in the Jim Henson workshop.

(Pictured with one of the air plants I haven’t murdered yet. I love air plants. They don’t always love me.)

The mouth has a really nice expression. I think an airplant would love to live in his head!

The air plant “hair” really finishes him off! Your clay creations always turn out so well.

He looks quite dashing with that air plant. His nose and lips are the best!
