Ok, I have updated my Charles’ Knits (Lettuce Knit) document with this pattern (and removed the WIP’s that I have forgotten or put off for way too long).
Are the fins delightfully crinkly plastic? ME-ow!
Yep! Very crnkly. I put yarn overs in three spots (for the pectorals and dorsal fins), and used a crochet hook to pull the plastic through. Then I cut them to shape (or I was going to, but they looked good enough with the basic cuts, heh).
Very clever idea and I bet the cats will love it!
