Goofy Cross Stitch

My sister’s nickname is Goofy (shortened from Goofiella), and whenever I see a Goofy-themed item, I usually pick it up (Goofy items are surprisingly hard to come by). I’ve had this little cross-stitch pattern for a long time, and last summer, I started working on it. I got most of it done, but then school started and it got tucked away. I finally finished it up this week! The stitching took way longer than I expected- there were a lot of partial stitches that were not simple half stitches, and they were a pain in the butt. I definitely did a couple wrong, but they mostly blend in.

The kit came with a little frame, but I don’t know if that’s how my sister will want it, so once I give it to her for her birthday next week, I’ll turn it into whatever she wants.

Thanks, @Abbeeroad and @Tapestry! I didn’t love it when I finished the cross stitching, but it looks much better with the backstitching. And, from a disto, the little flaws aren’t really noticeable

Aw, look at his goofy face! I hope you’ll share what you make with it after your sister decides.

I will! It might end up in a frame, but she might surprise me!
