I have Turner acrylic gouache paints had not used them in over a year and when I open the tubes paint has separated, clear liquid floats on top. I used them only few times so tubes have no empty space to shake or squeeze like for remixing. Any tips?
Can I use Turner brand mixed with other acrylic gouache brands?
I know this is old, but maybe you could stir the paint in the tube with a toothpick or skewer?
And I would assume different brands can be mixed if they’re all water based, but you might want to test before committing to a big project.
Potential problems might not show up for a while. For instance, poor quality paints might fade over time. Or not.
