Grand daughters 2024 PJs

This is the fifth year I’ve made PJs for my grand daughters at Christmas but the first time I’ve made them (almost) matching. I didn’t have enough ribbing of either colour for both so made that part different, never thinking that would be an issue until the girl with yellow questioned why she didn’t have purple too

I purchased the pencil fabric with plans to use it for the tops and bottoms but struggled with it so much I finally went and purchased fleece for the bottoms instead.

Even though I made the size their mom’s suggested, both pairs were large so they decided to tuck the tops in and roll the legs …

Darling! Room to grow is not a bad thing for kiddo PJs, right? Especially handmade PJs.

@AIMR @Tapestry … I think both girls would be sad if I didn’t make them. I forgot to say that the photo is from our family Christmas (Dec 26th) and taken before the meal. Our oldest (dark haired) loves to put her PJs on as soon as she opens them, the younger one often isn’t allowed to (don’t get me going on that) but this year her mom agreed she could, so whenever there’s a photo taken of everyone around the table, one or both girls are in PJs
