I was so inspired by @Annchen ‘s summer activity book (lucky @Renstar!!) that I decided I wanted to do something similar for my grandkids, although mine are not as cute or fancy.
My DD has 3 children, and my son and his wife have 1, who’s a fair bit younger.
My DD gets overstimulated pretty quickly with 3 kids (youngest just turned 1) and this was born more out of a need for her to have something to grab and hand to the older 2, to keep them occupied and happy.
I know that both households have plenty of crayons / markers, glue, tape, and scissors, but not a ton of other crafty bits. I wanted them to be able to mostly “grab and go” without too much input from their mom.
My other grandson is three, but also an only child with extremely hands on parents who encourage him to experiment and explore, so he will enjoy this, too, and his parents will likely play with him doing these activities.
Anyway, I used 1.5 inch binders. Maybe I should have gone with larger ones, but I had these brand new ones on hand, and they are pretty full.
What follows is a sampling of what’s included.

Rackets / paddles made from paper plates and paint stirrers. Then blow up a balloon and keep it airborne using the paddles. The kids are all Bluey fans, so “keepy-uppy” is a familiar term.
There are several color by numbers, mazes, coloring pages, hidden picture activities and the like, which are not shown.
Also not pictured are the inflatable swords, mini jigsaw puzzles, and make-a-face stickers, which are on order.
