My local library is creating a community book blanket. These are my contributions. I chose The Chronicles of St. Mary’s, which currently has 14 books in the series, not including the spinoffs and short story compilations. I can’t wait to see the whole thing completed!

Haha it was tricky! I stood on a chair as far away from the table as I could be and still reach the center.
BTW, you totally have to post a picture of this on Jodi Taylor’s FB or Instagram. She’s really nice, and frequently comments on things. I feel like she’d love to see how you took inspiration from the covers.

What a cool project! I agree with others who have said they would like to see the finished blanket. What is the library going to do with it when it’s done?
I am so impressed by the way you’ve pulled the colors from the covers as your inspiration. That’s a skill in and of itself.

I’m not sure. I know the blanket(s) will be displayed for a while at the library. I will definitely take a picture of the display, but I’m sure that assembly itself will take a good amount of time.

Excellent book choice for a project like this. Those covers translated beautifully into granny squares and you did such a great job matching the colors! I really like how each one is unique to its book counterpart, but they all have the gold center tying them together. Oh and I agree with Bunny, your photo is a work of art all on its own!
