Gray Day Sunshine Mug Cozy

There was a special mug that got chipped and couldn’t be used for sipping anymore. I loved the mug with it’s interesting handle, small size, and surprising friend. They’re called milk mugs, from what I gather, and encouraged kiddos to finish their milk.

In an effort to keep this whimsy in daily life, I made a mug cozy to keep crafting tools handy.

The frog friend inside now guards buttons while hooks hang about like party balloons.

I love this! I was given a very special handmade mug from someone and it was accidentally shattered. I just finished gluing it back together, and I feel like I need to make it a mug cozy as well. Even though it’s broken, it still brings me joy!

Thanks everyone for the compliments. My day gets better everytime I see the mug rocking it’s new purpose.

How much fun is this!?!?! I love the idea to save it by repurposing it for supply keeping. What are the doodads on your crochet hooks?
