Gudetama Cross Stitch “Let Me Go”

This is my first foray into cross stitch and an anniversary gift for my husband who is a big fan of the little lazy egg.

I purchased the pattern from Pink Baby Cabbage on Etsy.

Overall, this little guy is about 5”x7” and was done on 14 count Aida. He took about a week to finish (after work and on lunch breaks). I’m excited to try patterns that are a little more complicated! I definitely made some mistakes, but overall a great first project and continually moving towards progress over perfection.

I saw the “gudetama” title and I had to take a peek. Yes! Very Lazy Egg. I just started cross-stitching, too, and I’m really enjoying it.

Yes, this is my first one and I had a blast. The stitches were almost like a breathing exercise so it was very therapeutic after a long day at work.
