I love to make my granddaughter clothes esp. dresses. I bought the shirt but made the dress. Took about an hour. The bodice pattern is free from Jordan fabrics. The print is from Joanns. It has a lined bodice, the buttons are just decorative and all seams were overlocked. The Fabric has a great weight. She will probably wear black chucks with it. She’s my tomboy princess.

Ooo nice dress! That’s so sweet of you to make clothes for your granddaughter. None of my grandparents sew, but my mom does. She made me a Halloween apron a couple years ago-- I love it.
Thanks, I am slowly teaching her to sew. She is 5 and loves my sewing room. We do lots of arts and crafts together.
