Yes, I know the pattern lined up weird in the front but I made this blouse to wear under a cropped retro style sweater (and was conserving fabric; had to make it short sleeve, too)
I had to conserve fabric in the blouse above, because I had already made a smock top (I love smock tops BTW; I think this 70s fashion should make a comeback!)
Purple one (this is from America Made brand fabric - from growing of cotton to final product made in US, cheaper than Kona and about the same weight/quality, a sort of farm-to-table but with fabric!) with htv potions designs
Orange Halloween Overdress (again, American Made fabric) with htv designs
Anyone else have Halloween outfits for every day of October? Or another holiday? (I’m starting to build up my Christmas collection, but it’s not my favorite holiday so I only have about a week’s worth.)

How fun! You certainly have a unique wardrobe for October! I really like how you can layer pieces on top to make completely different looking outfits!
The Dottie Angel dress was/is a staple for me. It’s such a quick dress to throw together, and with a stash of quilters’ cottons, it’s fun to mix and match! And they’re super comfortable and light for the summer!
Tip for this pattern: The placement of the ties was way too high for me. I’d say if you’re anything over a B cup, you’ll have to place them much lower to hit anywhere near your natural waist.
Hm, yeah I had a similar tie problem with another pattern of about the same era (having underbust ties hit right at the bust point is somehow less flattering… ); thanks for the heads-up.
