Halloween quilt

Finally a quilt just for me! This is a lap sized quilt, the pattern is Horizon Lines by Taren Studios (crib size).

The backing is from stash, it was slightly too short so I added strips of the black sashing fabric to the top and bottom. As you can see the backing became slightly wonky during quilting but I don’t mind. The batting is 100% wool, the first time I’m using this type. It’s really nice and warm.

Me too! What attracted me to this pattern is that it really shows off the fabric.

Finishing a project meant for yourself is so satisfying! (Also, I’m in love with that backing fabric )

What a fun and cozy quilt to have for snuggling under during the cold days!

You did a lovely job spacing out the sashing and the back is just as nice!

The fabrics really are shown to advantage with this pattern…thanks for sharing it. I hope to have mine done soon as well.

As you said, it is a pattern that is very versatile.

Thanks! I can’t wait to see your version @AIMR ! @wittychild I have had it in my stash for a year or two I think, I had been looking for the perfect project to use it for.

As the saying goes, Halloween is not just a holiday, it’s a lifestyle. This is going to be so cozy for all the chilly months! The pattern really does let the prints shine.
