Halp! Advice on a gift needed

My mom drew these on my lunch bag when I was a kid, and I’ve kept it ever since. This year I learned to embroider so I did them as an embroidery, and it’s cute but I don’t know what else to do. Suggestions?

Do you mean what to do with the embroidery? Make a lunch bag!

seconded - make a lunch bag, it takes it back to the original

Or use the hoop as a frame and hang it in your kitchen. You could do a series. I just saw a hoop frame wrapped in narrow grosgrain ribbon and it looked classy.

I love this project for many reasons. If you are looking to spice it up a bit (I am assuming that is your real question) I think some brown and red paint around the edges of the wooden hoop might do it. Reflective of the original colors.

Aw, those are super cute but better still is that you’ve saved the bag! How sweet, I love this story.
I agree a lunch bag would be fab but I also like the hoop just as it is, it doesn’t need more to make it special. It’s already as special as can be.

I love this so much!! It’s so lucky you knew you wanted to keep it, so long ago!

Are you asking what to do with your finished hoop? Or do you have more doodles?
