Hamburger Buns

Made for grilling burgers for the kids tomorrow while I’m home alone as the wife is on vacation.

Like a dumb dumb, I didn’t read the part of the recipe for how to measure the first batch out. 120g was way too much, :no_mouth:.

For the onion buns, 100g was perfect, ( should have read the instructions in the first place, yeesh).

Last night before bed, I caramelized the onions and put them in the fridge over night. The buns smell wonderful, oof. “I have to wait til tomorrow”.

And the spurtle I made worked wonderfully for helping with the mixer. Even the natural curve made it a lot easier to move it along the bottom of the bowld

I really should remake the first batch, but I don’t feel too good. Eh, if I feel up to it later, I’ll do so. I do need to grab a few more things for the cookout tomorrow.

These look like they are going to make a burger in July just so, so much more perfect.

The onion buns were a hit. And although I can barely taste the onions, I can still taste them…or smell them…(you’d be surprised how difficult it is to tell which is having trouble, taste or smell, ).

Anyway, the onions were caramelized perfectly,
