Hanging air plant holder

For Summer Camp Arts and Crafts Club, we were tasked with making something using a provided round cookie cutter. I made this hanging air plant holder.

First I wrapped the cookie cutter using scrap yarn and the equivalent of a buttonhole stitch which is kind of like a half hitch knot . I just used yarn for the hanger because the air plants are lightweight.

One of the most original ideas for that cookie cutter yet! It’s fantastic! I’m also envious of your xerographica. I’ve murdered enough I no longer buy them, but I adore the way they look.
