I received a lovely envelope and surprise from @irid3sc3nt today! It was the best happy mail at a moment when I really needed it. Even the envelope makes me smile! Thank you, Carissa!

There’s mail for me that has been showing up in our informed delivery app for days, but it’s still not here  I hope it didn’t come all the way from the US to get lost in my city…

ackkkk!!! that sound a bit like torture to see it, but not be able to hold it in real life
I hope it lands in your mailbox soon!

It hasn’t arrived yet, but as an apology (I complained, because it isn’t the first time) the post office sent me one free, domestic stamp. I know this is just an automatically delivered apology but come on, you could at least send me an international stamp for missing international mail.

I know it’s not their problem but I’m also slightly annoyed with the neighbours. I’m in a walkable, small neighbourhood where everyone knows eachother. When other people’s mail accidentally ends up with me I always take it to their house or back to the post office so they can try to deliver again, but my mail rarely turns up again when it goes missing.

That’s a minimal apology!
Good grief

I also try to drop neighbors’ mail in their mailboxes if it’s accidentally in mine

Heads up: Canada Post Strike

Some of you may know this already or may have seen my post in other threads, but just a heads up to maybe hold off on sending mail to and/or from Canada until the Canada Post strike is resolved. There will be no lettermail delivery until then. Fingers crossed that the dispute will be resolved quickly.

ugh, that is sad –
I must have mailed a postcard to you before I got news of the strike :frowning:
Hopefully it will get to you eventually!

I got Happy Mail from @bluebird today!
My first Happy Holidays card, just while Marc was putting up our Christmas decorations.
Thanks again for the beautiful card and the additional stickers!

I also received from @bluebird this week. The stickers in particular were such a lovely surprise. Thanks, April!

I did a silly thing… I know I sent a batch of Christmas cards ten days ago. I remember two of the recipients, but I’m sure I sent more. I wanted to send more today but I just don’t remember who the other ones that I sent were for. So it’s entirely possible that some people will get more than one card…

And I also received mail from you @kayrun ! Thanks.

I keep a spreadsheet…
(I keep a spreadsheet for pretty much anything. I might call it ‘my memory’.)

I have spreadsheets, and a bullet journal, and I always think ‘I’ll write that down when I’ve got time / energy’ which is never.

Anything I need to remember quickly, I take a quick picture of on my phone. But this time I forgot about that too :joy:

yay! I was just wondering how long it might take to get to you (and then of course I doubted myself & thought I possibly had forgotten to mail it!)
