A few months ago I stamped and addressed a bunch of post cards. Some I sent. Some I set asside with the plan of adding a note and sending a few each week. Then life got busy.
So I have a shiny pile of postcards ready to go out in the new year.
Except one is addressed to Bluebird, which absolutely breaks my heart for obvious reasons. I’m not sure what to do with it. I was thinking of sending it to her husband just to say I’m thinking about her and how wonderful she was. But I’m not sure.

April was someone that I enjoyed making things to send her randomly as well. I love birds and bought a whole bunch of bird cross stitches that I had planned on doing and sending her from time to time. Just makes me want to stop delaying and start more doing!
I think her husband would appreciate it.
My mothman postcard is on my bulletin board. As a matter of fact, Jenn, each day, I see the crystals you sent me to ward off the evil in my new home, my painted black kitten, and mothman every single day!
In fact…just about everything I am looking at right now is from someone here!! I have the best life!

I don’t do New Year’s resolutions anymore (unless they’re fun, general ones) but I think that will be my mantra in 2026.
That makes me so happy! My craft room/office is filled with LC bits and pieces from swaps and happy mail and they bring a smile each day. Plus making things for this community and others brings me joy, helps keep me sane, and stretches creative muscles. I’m so thankful for each of you and our little corner of the internet.

@Tapestry, I also think you should send it to April’s husband. He posted here to inform us that she passed away because he knew this community ment a lot to her. Sending him a postcard that was originally intended for her is very personal and shows much appreciation.
Since my fall postcards are still roaming the US postal system somewhere there’s also one from me addressed to her that will show up eventually.
