Happy Pi Day

Every year at work we have a Pi Day competition and one of the categories is “most mathematical” how you make a mathematical pie baffles me but I thought a quad pie might be a good way to work numbers into delicious goodness
The contenders:
apple, pecan, cherry, and pumpkin
I rolled out an enormous pie crust then built walls out of the scraps then had enough to top my apple pie (with added turbinado sugar) and half way lattice the top of the cherry. Can’t wait to dig in!

To be fair, that’s what I was thinking  As in the middle section

Probably wouldn’t do it myself as I’m more of a savoury person, but it would be tough not to do that!!

4 pies sounds like a lot of work, what lucky coworkers you have (especially that one that got a taste of each!)! What a great and tasty idea!
