Have a Sheepy Christmas!

I was paired with @jemimah in the Prairie Schooler Swap. We both agreed to do Christmas pieces.

Since she is now in Australia, I thought this cute sheep pattern would be appropriate. It was a little too small on its own, so I added a Christmas sentiment and the border.

It is finished with a felt backing, put on with blanket stitching.

The little sheep-with-a-wreath is such a cutie! And I love the lettering and layout of the words.

Ooo. I love the red! The frayed edges and finishing are really nice touches, too. Wonderful stitching!

It’s even better in person - ewe should see how great it looks with my red, grey, and white Christmas tree decorations!! And of course it is perfect for Christmas in rural Australia  Thanks again Linda, I love it! :sheep:
