While working on the Sculpture swap, I was inspired by a project on Pinterest and Monster Jam. I didn’t have time to do it then, but I grabbed a bit of time to get it done now.
Heart-shaped skull necklaces. They are made from Sculp’d air-dry clay and glazed. I started painting the eyes and features with acrylic, but that didn’t give me the effect I was hoping for, so I switched to rubbing soft pastels on them and liked that a lot better.
I can’t remember if this is a US only swap. The link to this year’s discussion doesn’t have that info. I will try to find out. It’s my favorite swap and it used to be twice a year, now only once in the fall. I participated way back when crafster.org was in existance. Lettuce Craft origins started on that site.
If I ever move overseas again my address is considered US territory and only US domestic rates apply. Thanks goodness, I can still continue joining this swap if we move out of US again.
Totally want this! Thanks for planning on including these for STS! Whenever we can preview what people are planning makes me more excited! You should totally post these on the discussion thread. I’m gonna start making stuff for my shop.
