I made this little mushroom guy magnet as a last minute addition to a recent care package.
My inspiration was a cheap sticker set I found at the grocery store for $1: three little frames and two hearts. Random. But I loved the little frames and decided they’d make great mini magnets.
Before I added the frame:
I wish I’d had a bigger sticker. 
Watercolor, watercolor pencil, ink, and gouache on mixed media paper.
I like how he’s coming in at an angle and that green/gold background makes it look like he’s in front of a luscious forest! It looks great in the frame.
He’s adorable! I love his happy lil face.
He’s so dang cute! The frame really highlights his great expression.
You can’t look at this face and be sad! Try it, I dare you!

The expression is so absolutely perfect. It’s like he’s popping in to say hi.
