High Tops for a Bride

Hey there! I’ve not posted in ages, but I’m still creating.

I finished a pair of hand embroidered Converse high tops for a bride last week. Her wedding is 9/27.

The floral stitching is basically the same on both shoes, but above the Converse logo, the right shoe has her married name (Mrs. M…) and the left has her wedding date.

I managed to stitch these up in about a week, but it was rough going to be honest. I’m not sure I’ll do another pair of these.

Impressive; sympathies to your hands for embroidering shoe-canvas in place!

These are cute and full of personality! My fingers get tender just thinking about hand stitching Chucks.

Yeah, I developed a couple of calloused fingers from that project. As a result, I have very little sensation on the tip of my pointer finger on my right hand. :upside_down_face:

Yikes! My fingers hurt in sympathy, just looking at this. But it does look beautiful!
