I was at a service fair today and participated in a little project to paint encouragement and support on rocks that will be given to survivors of abuse. Sometimes people just need to be reminded that they matter, even when those who are close to them have forgotten that fact, and mistreat them. These are some of the ones I painted.

Even as I was making them, that quote from The Princess Bride kept popping into my head: “The minute his head is in view, hit it with the rock!” But I thought that might not be an appropriate sentiment….
