Home Made POP Tarts

Another delicious atrocity from the My Little Pony Baking Book. My daughter and I made home made pop tarts.

Basically, pie crust, strawberry preserves, and icing. Compared to a pop tart it has better pastry, better jam but softer icing so I don’t recommend it for an actual toaster.

Ya gotta wonder what they put in the icing to make it safe for toasters.

I love pop tarts, and they are so hard to find around here. I love the little heart sprinkles you added.
Another point towards getting this book
