I stitched up this little beehive scene for @AIMR. The hive reminds me of a lantern. Maybe it is a bee bar where they hang out after work; do some dancing, have a drink…let their wings down. The pattern is from Aunt Martha. They have a new bee pattern sheet that is super cute.

I love it! Such crisp, clean lines and cheery colors. 
May I ask what kind of fabric you used as the backing? The texture looks different from a regular quilting cotton or linen, at least the ones I can get ahold of.
