Hoot and Howl a Barred Owl Sings

They just keep coming. In my head and on my machine. But they have found a home to go to when the wall quilt is finished. My DW is decorating her little beige, narrow box of an office, and she needs some color.

So far, I have 8 birds, including two FPP. They stand out, so they will become the focal point. I want to add a few more simple bird blocks and then make tree/foliage-themed blocks to mix in.

I modified the pattern a bit on each of these, just to make it more fun to piece. The owl was a doozie, and then I added leaves to complicate it even more.

Birds to date….

These are incredible, I’m so impressed. I can do paper piecing but it would really be a challenge to do so much of it! Amazing perseverance indeed.
