How do you hide an AC unit off season?

In the summer we use window air conditioners when needed. I don’t really like AC, but when we have one of these extra humid and hot summers it is the only way to sleep.
There is limited space in our little cape and the upstairs units have been living in boxes in the corners, doubling as covered tables, and taking up too much space. Not a good look.
In the guest/kitten room I took a thrifted side table. Disassembled and cut down to size. Painted it dark blue and added side panels covered in linen. We’ll see how long those last with kittens :smile_cat: .
It’s a bit wonky since I am not a great woodworker, but it came out nice. Now we have a place to hide the AC unit.

Wait till you see the master bedroom solution!

It’s so tidy! Perfect camouflage for an AC unit!

Great idea!

Wow! No one would suspect this was to store an A/C unit!

Nice hidden storage - it looks great!

It looks really nice and I don’t see anything wonky at all. Great solution!

We took the unit out and I forgot to include the bracket that holds it in the window, but we unscrewed the silly thing and all is good.
