How would people feel about an ongoing thread for simple kitchen/cooking questions?

I often find myself with small kitchen/cooking questions but I feel like the question doesn’t really merit a thread of it’s own but I’d like an opinion or two.

So I was wondering if there’d be interest in a thread for this? (Also, not sure if an admin would need to make it so it can be culled periodically if necessary).

I’m also on-board with this! Sounds like a fun resource! Would make sense for a Mod to start it, so helpful answers could possibly be pinned/linked in either the first post area or a “Glossary” post at the top.
