I recently couch-crafted some ATCs using assorted cut-out bits I had around. The captions I put together from a couple of pages from a book of supernatural stories.

Dolls totally freak me out so these are great for the season. That book is a find. Those are very weird words grouped together…and the map one is so totally so murderous!

Thank you, friends! “A wad of damp fairies” was actually an existing phrase in the book, so I can’t take credit for that bit 
.

These are a creepy hoot! That book is the perfect one for harvesting words for this style and you’ve used them perfectly with your images. Do you choose the images or the phrases first?

@TheMistressT, in this case I made the cards first and then decided to go the found caption route. That’s probably my typical process, just because in most cases the words are a finishing element for me. But if I found a great phrase, I wouldn’t think twice about creating a card to go with it.
