I like art, an upcycled LC Meet-Up Souvenir

During the recent LC Meet-Up, we went to a cool art store “art coop, inc,” where I found some wonderful children’s books for my students. I brought them home in this bag,

(@megwell, I wish you got a bag!)

I knew I had to do something with it so I could hang it in my classroom.

So, I found some foam board (forgetting actual supply name…foam poster board) that I had in stash and cut it to 8" x 10".

I cut out the wording on the bag out and attached it with double sided tape on the front edges.

I cleaned up the back with more double sided tape and wrote the meet-up info to remember. (No photo.)

It’s nice as it is:

But, if I can find an 8"×10" frame it will fit in, that could spruce it up just a wee bit more.

How fun! What a great idea.

I knooow, me too! [shakes fist that they didn’t have what she was looking for]

I kinda wish I’d gotten something at the bookstore, too.

That bag is perfect for framing in a classroom. Its so bright and cheerful and really screams, “I like art”!

I ended up hanging it with some cartoonish artist printables I purchased from TpT!

I had the custodians hang this whiteboard that was in my room on the wall over the summer. It’ll probably house my standards/I can statements that I didn’t really get to last year, but teachers are supposed to do it.
