In remembrance flowers and scarf

My friend reached out to ask for ideas to turn the dress her late grandma wore to her wedding into something she could display or use. One of my ideas was a head scarf which she liked. I volunteered to do it for her so she mailed the dress to me.

The scarf looks like a square piece of fabric, which isn’t terribly interesting, but I did do a rolled hem by hand. You can see the tiny little stitches on the back.

I also made her a flower that maybe she can pop into a little vase.

And this little flower that she can add to a pin or headband and wear or use in a shadowbox picture frame with a photo of her grams.
