My brain fog is just over the top these days…I also received from my partner, @thanate! She offered to make me some fun pieces to use as focal points for a few projects I want to do for some family members. I know nothing about clay except that I love the feel and look and know that great textures can be made using it.
I was just expecting a few pieces, but she made me multiples! Since I will be painting them for my project, I was glad to get them …unglazed? Is that the term?
She also sent a bunch of other whimsies to use as well…assemblage is a long process for me since I often can’t find nice pieces to start the process. I have lots to choose from now!
I tried to get some close-ups of these adorable chonky horses!
Thanks for swapping with me! I can’t wait to be able to do this special project! I have two nieces so the two horses will be a focal point for sure!

While I was out of town, an awesome package arrived for me- I received from @AIMR !!! She spoiled me!
The shawl is so pretty! So lacy, and the neutral color is just right. And who can say no to pockets?
Can’t wait to read the book, and to try out the tea and bookmarks! A cozy cuddle with tea and a good book…. It’s the perfect swap package!

@edel turned me onto that tea when she sent me a few bags in a swap…I don’t even like licorice/anise, but I drink the tea all the time.

I find sharing book recommendations is a very personal thing (like, “this book spoke to my soul, please don’t hate it!”), so this makes me very happy.

@Bunny1kenobi recommended The Tiger and it has become one of my favorites as well as my husband’s, so, I thought I would chance that we had similar interests in books!

You guys!! I received the most amazing package from @jemimah today! (Was there any doubt?!) I feel like it made it in record time, too. (Hopefully mine to her is just as quick 
)
I’ll start with the main artwork: “Expand.” I just love this so much. There are so many layers and the texture is luscious. I tried to capture it in photos, but not sure I’m doing it justice:

I got an amazing envelope stuffed full of awesome goodies from @LindyBlues. We agreed to send an envelope amount equal to one stamp.
Please forgive the cat window seat background. It had the best light in the house, of course.
She send me two amazing 4x6 artworks.
Love this kitty. It looks like it just got away with something clever or is about to do something naughty. Ha!
Next is this sweet little Snail among the mushrooms. His name is Speedy!
And Speedy has an entire adventure to go along with him! I don’t think LindyBlues knows, but my new obsession is zines. I missed the swap, but a couple of people sent me extras, and I LOVE them. This one is adorable!
And last, but definitely not least, this amazing sequence-finned mermaid ATC!
