It's not much, but it's something: embroidered letters on sweatshirts

Due to dumb health stuff, I have barely crafted in the last couple years. I’m starting to figure it out and feel better.

I’m still tired and my executive dysfunction is ridiculous, so I’ve stuck to simple projects. I bought these patches and added them to sweatshirts. I teach biology at a school with a cavalier mascot, hence the themes.

I know most people wouldn’t bother to post these shirts, but I want to celebrate the baby steps toward my “normal” energy levels.

I’d post them, why the heck not?! I’ve posted an ATC, it is all art & all good.
Your shirts are cute, I like that they are floral instead of just plain. Gives a lil’ extra oomph, very cool.

Enjoy those tiny steps, & may you have many more of them!

The flowery dot print for “biology” is a good combination.

I’d for sure post these! They’re great looking and seem great for wearing to school!

I love embellished clothing. It makes them unique and so much more personal and fun.

You are a real trooper to do these while not feeling 100%. Hope things improve and that you will be back to doing projects you love!

The shirts look wonderful. I hope you recover soon and get your crafty mojo and craft time back!

I actually really love the shirt that just says “BIOLOGY.” They’re both great though!

Yay for celebrating baby steps, these are the most important.

Love what you did with the shirts

These came out great! Easy crafts, difficult crafts, are all crafts, and something we get to enjoy. Sometimes you just want to put sprinkles on top of a boxed cake mix, and it still tastes amazing. I’m happy to see them posted!

These turned out great! Celebrate the win. I would post them too. I like the floral fabric of the letters too. It pairs well with the shirts.
Here’s to many more posts!!!

Post away! We will always help you celebrate the wins! And these look great, too! The biology one is especially fantastic!!

PS- I totally get what you’re saying. I got super sick at Christmas time and it took a couple months to recover. My crafty mojo is still wandering around somewhere…. I actually went to Michaels last week looking for inspiration and that didn’t even help…..

BUT my son got a job at a fossil shop / interactive kids exhibit and I’m actually starting to consider some crafty consignment ideas for their store!

@Magpie @thanate @TheMistressT @Bunny1kenobi @Silky_Bee @zubrickk @AIMR @Tapestry @MistressJennie @gozer @Mountains_and_Clouds, you are all the very best! I sincerely appreciate your encouraging words. :heart::heart:

My kids go to school where I teach. They are super duper athletes due to some seriously recessive genes. Anyway, school spirit wear is often kind of generic and unisex. Sometimes I just want to look girlie in my spirit wear! My daughter’s cheer coach made her self an uber sparkly red sequined lettered shirt. That’s my next goal because there is no such thing as too much glitter!

These are great! Go you!!
(And it’s more than I’ve gotten done lately craft-wise, so I’m applauding loudly for you!!)

One of my personal mottos is, “If you wear enough sequins, all you have to do is stand there.” Spectating children’s activities in a sequined top seems the perfect application of my motto!
