Now I need the stable brain power to write the patterns. O_o, then I can add them to my LettuceKnit document.
It just crossed my mind, by mixing the head of the lizard and extending the flapflaps of the ray, I bet I could make a bat. Will have to try that, heh.
Just made a change to the snake, and turned it into the Aztec god Quetzalcoatl,
oof! My mind is awfully dizzy right now, so hopefully Iโll remember I did this. Anyway, I did a 2 stitch i-cord and then I knitted together one stitch from the main piece and one stitch from the arm piece, the second stitch of the arm is the increase for the main piece.
When I knit this with the finishing yarn, it should be easier as I have both sides of the skein to use. I got lost and used the wrong strand with this test yarn, so too many threads about. Well, thereโll still be a lot of threads, but it should still be a tad easier, heh.
Ok! Zipacna looks pretty good. . And with this and Quetzalcoatl, I have a pair of Central Mesoamerican God cat toys, heh. (Zipacna: Mayan, Quetzalcoatl: Aztec).
Oh my word! These are awesome, for how simple they are, heh. These were made with the technique I found to bind off on the left (right, for you lefties).
I can see writing this pattern out is going to need a bit more thinking, oof!
