JOY Holiday Cards

I’m unable to make totally personalized cards for family and my closest friends this year, even though I’d already started down that path. So I shifted to somthing closer to an assembly line method with 2 themes: JOY and NOEL. I finished the JOY cards today!

They are still made specifically for each recipient, but it was still quicker using mostly the same dies. Each one ended up with either a metallic or glitter component in the JOY part which are impossible to see in the group shot. Also in the close-ups you can see the woodgrain background and the custom embellishments. A couple also have embossed backgrounds.

I used stamps to add sentiments to the inside, also customized to the recipients.

I have 7-8 of the NOELs to make! I hope to be done by the end of Thanksgiving weekend (US).

These are great, and I am sure the recipients will adore them. Very festive.

they look nice. I do similar, have a basic idea and then assembly line them. colors and placement may vary somewhat.

Thanks! Sometimes assembly line makes the most sense. Back when I made all 50 or so cards, I for sure did that. Maybe I need to consider making simpler cards? :grimacing:

I love all the cool patterns and color combos you used. What a great set so far!

Thank you! So much of the fun (and time) while making these kinds of things is figuring out which papers to use.

Gorgeous! Your cards are always outstanding.

Awww, thank you so much!
